While taking the course Channeling Skills II I asked my guide about the earthquake in Haiti, and the information coming through was this:

50,000 people die everyday from accidents, this was just the Earth hicupping, Haiti is a 3rd world country with raw sewage running through the steets and a government that did not  care enough about the people to build them safe structures. Many missionaries have been trying to inform people and governments of the situation down there
for many years. With the quake, the entire world is now aware of such conditions. Over 40 nations have come together as one to help people who have nothing to offer in return either economically or materially. This is a huge
advancement toward a compassionate earth. With this attention and resources now available to these people, the years of suffering in poverty and squaller are over, this country will be rebuilt 10 times better than it had been
and there will be schools, hospitals, clean water and plumbing. This is a huge advancement toward the spiritual evolution of this planet.
