The evolution from human to divine consciousness involves healing duality and its legacy of karma and disease at the cellular and atomic levels. There is no illness that cannot be healed simply through intention. Many of the thousands of documented so-called miracle healings powerfully demonstrate the impact of consciousness on physical as well as emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Mind-body medicine, which is statistically valid enough to be taught in today’s medical schools, offers additional proof of our ability to heal ourselves. Molecular biologist Bruce Lipton’s research further indicates that people can modify their DNA and overcome life-threatening illnesses simply by changing their consciousness.

Deepak Chopra has remarked that “the similarity between a thought and a photon is very deep.” A photon is a particle or quantum of light or other electromagnetic radiation. Dr. Chopra is implying a connection between thought and light. In many shamanic traditions, thought (intention) is considered a form or function of higher-dimensional light. Mind is “the illuminating energy which ‘Lights the way’ of an idea or form to be transmitted and received,” once wrote Alice Bailey. “Upon a beam of light can the energy of the mind materialize.” Following this line of reasoning, we can imagine ourselves not only as “frozen light” (to quote Dr. Richard Gerber) but also as “frozen thought.”

This way of looking at the human body as a congealed thought, which may at first strike the reader as strange, is in the final analysis deeply empowering. Quantum physicists have repeatedly demonstrated that a scientist always affects the outcome of an experiment simply by observing it, a realization now universally accepted in the scientific community as the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. Even more amazing is the paradigm-altering discovery that gives rise to the particle-wave duality: the probability that the physicist actually creates the quantum particles that he or she observes, since in unobserved states these particles appear to exist only as waves.

A fundamental and revolutionary truth emerges from this information: consciousness creates. As human beings imbued with free will, we can use the power of our consciousness to re-create our reality: including but not limited to a body, mind and spirit free of disease.

I stress “re-create” because, clearly, we already inhabit one creation. The world as we know it is based on the principle of duality. Another way of stating this is that a dualized or divided consciousness, one that already saw itself as separate from other consciousnesses, including unity or God consciousness, gave birth to the universe as humans often experience it: a battleground between good and evil, light and dark, right and wrong, “us” and “them.”

But duality is not merely a philosophy; it is a physical state of being as well. The very atoms that make up our cells are based on positive and negative charges whose opposition sustains a certain life-form. Lipton has coined the phrase the “biology of consciousness” to summarize the transformational idea that living organisms, including humans, rather than being empirical givens, are actually malleable thought-forms. In other words, adopting a quantum physics perspective, we are basically waves that only cohere as particles through an act of consciousness. By changing our consciousness, we change our physical form and functioning.

Healing means to make whole. Healing leads to unification and implies atonement, which in this context really should be read as “at-one-ment.” In a world where thought creates and biology is a product of consciousness, not the other way around, the mind has the power to forge a new biology, one no longer based on duality but on the principles of unity and harmony. In Return of the Bird Tribes, where a central theme is the reunion of the human body with the soul in the pivotal years we are currently experiencing, Ken Carey neatly summarizes how we must proceed, individually as well as collectively: “In the order of healing, it is human consciousness that first must change.” Our challenge, which is also a tremendous opportunity, is to open up to a literally life-changing way of thinking ourselves into existence.

Enlightenment is about raising consciousness and letting the light of the soul in to the point that we become it. True enlightenment follows a path of conscious personal mastery that results in transformation and, by definition, involves the creation of a stable lightbody. The lightbody or soul body is a “trinitized” (balanced and harmonious) physical vehicle that has resolved duality, karma and disease at the cellular and atomic levels.

We can conceptualize the current evolutionary Shift occurring in our species’ DNA as a change in “operating systems” from a binary to a “trinary” code based on the ener-genetics of the three-fold tetrahedron shape. We might even go so far as to say that humans are evolving out of biology into “triology.” In this light it is most interesting that some in the alternative science community have alluded to suppressed research on a third DNA strand reportedly activating in many humans.

An illuminating way of visualizing how metamorphosis into a light-based physiology actually occurs is to look at a quantum particle known as positronium. Positronium is composed of an electron, which has a negative charge, and a positron, which has a positive charge. Positronium is a perfect example of duality. It also provides a wonderful illustration of how the lightbody is created. Since electrons and positrons are antiparticle opposites, after combining to form positronium, they immediately cancel out each other and decay into two particles or quanta of light (photons). A third stable and unified element, that is neither positive nor negative, is thus created from a preexisting dualism.

Barbara Hand Clow has written that this process of combination and decay in the positronium atom, mirrored in lightbody activation, “resolves inherent duality into light … [As] the electron is the basic unit of activation—life—it triggers the transmutation of the positron—karma.” Contrary to popular misconception, karma has nothing to do with punishment and reward. It exists as part of our holographic universe’s binary or dualistic operating system only to teach us responsibility for our creations—and all things we experience are our creations. When these creations are out of tune with Source, they often manifest in the disharmony known as disease. This can occur not only in individuals but in entire civilizations. In both cases, disease, which is typically considered a crisis, simultaneously serves as a powerful stimulus for transformation and transcendence.

As we raise our consciousness and activate our lightbody, we realize that we are our own creators made, or making ourselves, in the image and similitude of the one Creator. Indeed, since in a hologram the part contains the whole, we are the one Creator. By learning this truly transformative lesson, we return to unity consciousness while mastering physicality. In other words, we achieve god-realization as the light of soul descends into a divine or soul body healed of duality and freed from the instructional cycle of karma.

The cosmic Heart is the minutest particle. You cannot go there with your body or your mind because it is the purest of the pure and even a thought will contaminate it.

A true glimpse of this cosmic Heart is like pouring your cup of water into the river: you will never see your water again! Don't touch "I" and you will have this glimpse.

Glimpses are not as important, as the one who is having the glimpse, who is It. What stays after the glimpse is most important? Awareness cannot go and cannot be destroyed.

You do not have to depend on anything to be Free and it is not a glimpse! Freedom is always permanently residing in your Heart so don't get rid of all these aids which give a glimpse of bliss. Don't depend on anything and simply keep Quiet. Let your mind not cling to anything of the past and check its futurizing tendencies.

Do not allow any clinging to any physical form, not even your own self or your Guru. Then you are left alone with Freedom and this will not be a glimpse, it will be a permanent abiding in your own Self.

Satsang and the inquiry into what you are will stir up vasanas to be washed away. Pure mind will then rest in its Source. Constantly uplift your mind to Self. Find out what is eternal in this Moment. Two cannot walk the razor's edge so you must remain one-pointed, you must believe in the Unbelievable, and you must face the Unknown. Do not turn back to the known. Stop complicating yourself: Be Quiet.

Hurricane Katrina is the most shocking mass event, besides the 9/11 World Trade Center attack, to hit the United States, and is likely to be even deadlier as the death toll rises. No one could have imagined this disaster of Biblical proportions, the second one in a year (the first being the Asian Tsunami that killed approximately 250,000 people).

Worse than the hurricane itself was the flooding of New Orleans, and even worse than that was the incompetence (or was it?) that the disaster was handled with. It took more than three days for the government to swing into action and assist those who were caught in the crisis, which would have lowered the death toll considerably. The moral of the story for most Americans was, “Store plenty of food and water because the government might not rescue you before you starve to death, especially if you are poor or black.” FEMA has proven itself to be a lame duck and has yet to assist anyone, supposedly spending $500 million per day in the rescue efforts although no one has been aware of their presence anywhere as a helper. The gulf coasts of Mississippi and Alabama remain devoid of federal assistance even two weeks later.

It makes us wonder if some sinister plan is happening that is unfathomable to the ordinary mind. Almost everyone believes that if those were rich, white people rather than poor, black people trapped in the floods of New Orleans, the government would have pulled out all the stops and aid would have been made available immediately. Was it ineptitude, or was it something more sinister, purposely executed?

I am going to steer away from getting into conspiracy theories, however, for we all know they are there and run in most governments around the world. The darkness in the governments is only a representation of the shadow self in the mass consciousness of humanity. Rather, I would like to look at what this event could mean for those who would like to take a spiritual perspective. Those who were involved in the mass event were meant to be involved in it. Those who were not were meant to play their roles as spectators or helpers. It was no accident as to who was involved in the mass event, and who was not. Anytime a mass event takes place, all participants have been present by choice in their souls. It was meant to be an event in their lives. If they were not meant to be involved, they would have been out of town that week, or resided in another location.

The event was a wake up call on a social and spiritual level. It showed the public that prejudice still exists, whether it has to do with race or financial class, it is there. It also showed that the leadership of the country is in dire need of re-evaluation. This is the social aspect. The spiritual aspect is that this is loud wake up call for many people and it has reached the core of their being. For those involved in the event, it is quite obvious how this could be considered a wake up call, for no one’s life will ever be the same. It is not uncommon to hear people who were involved saying, “This has changed my life forever.” The close brush with disaster and death has caused many to have a spiritual revolution and a new zest for life. They suddenly find clarity about what is really important in life and cherish it more. Their faith in their religious beliefs has either been strengthened or shattered. They realize how much they love their friends and family members, who might have previously been an object of their anger or frustration. They have realized strengths and weaknesses in their character that might have been less noticeable before. All participants in this mass event have had a jolt and permanent changes in their personalities have manifested instantly.

For some it is not so instant. Many will deal with loss and trauma for quite a while. However, a new level of lucidity is present in the victims of the storm and now the questions are being asked, if they were not being asked before: Where was God in all this? Who am I really? Do I still believe what I believed before? What happens after I die? Who do I really love? What do I really want to do with my life? What is my purpose? What is really important? These are only a few of the spiritual questions that are being asked in the mind of each participant of this mass event.

On a mass level, the same questions are being asked, perhaps not with so much intensity, but none-the-less, it makes everyone wonder, “If that was me in that event, how would I have acted? What would I have done? Would I have been a hero or a coward? What belongings are dearest to me and if I could only take what I could carry, what would I take with me? Would I have been among the casualties or the living? Would I be a helper or an obstacle?” The masses are also shocked into realizing that perhaps the end times are nearer than we thought. Perhaps the prophesies of the Bible have begun and we must get down to the work of becoming enlightened now or never. The time for examining the self, and self-inquiry, has come. Chasing after money and success are illusions after all, so the masses must ask themselves, “What is truly important in my life, and what is it that I came here to do? Maybe I better get going!”

Another spiritual viewpoint is that this is a new beginning for so many who escaped the event with their lives. The slate has been wiped clean. Now everything must be started over again. New friendships must be made, new surroundings, new belongings, new jobs, new everything. For some, this is the fresh start they were looking for, even if it means starting from scratch with very little money. Their lives can be rebuilt. It might not be “fair,” but it is still a new start. Their old ruts have been broken, whether they like it or not, and a new path must be walked.

For those who have experienced loss, this is an important lesson in their lives. Everyone experiences loss sooner or later in their lives if they live long enough, and for some, this is their moment. It is quite painful to experience loss, but life is not a complete education unless loss has taken place. Even loss is an illusion, for truly no one was harmed, not even in death. All humans and animals are pure consciousness, and they are still whole and “okay,” even though they are no longer in a body. It is, after all, One Self having many lifetimes and dreams in all these various bodies and identities. The human or animal form is not who that One Self really is. It is only a temporary experience of the One Self. For some, this may be their chance to find out this truth, that the spirit of a person or animal friend lives on.

For some, their roles as helpers and heroes is exactly the spiritual experience they needed to have. It is important for a person to experience being the giver in life, and for some, this is their chance. There are many counselors, some paid and some volunteer, who are assisting those who have had this traumatic experience, and for them it is a fulfilling experience and a lesson in being a guide and teacher to others. This is also a valuable spiritual experience, and if there was no disaster, this experience would not be possible.

For many on the mass level, there is a shift in the heart that must happen because they are angry at the government or particular leaders. Those who are furious at the leaders, whether it is believed that there was purposeful harm done to the victims or simply incompetence, all must find forgiveness in their hearts if they want to contribute to a shift on the planet. It is impossible to find someone who does not have some sort of negative feelings about the event, whether it is anger at those in charge or fear about their own security. The confidence of the public has definitely been shaken. All must realize, however, that the leaders are not the problem. It is the darkness in humanity that is the problem. These particular leaders would not be able to be in office if there was not darkness in the mass consciousness. This darkness must be dealt with on an individual basis first, and then it will shift in the mass consciousness as a result of each individual shift. Many blame Bush and others for the lack of immediacy in handling the event, but Bush is only a face and name for something that is much deeper in the psyche of the masses. Here is a chance for many to practice unconditional love and learn how to send light and love toward Bush and other leaders, rather than hatred and anger. Hatred and anger only feeds negativity, whereas love neutralizes it. Rather than hate leaders and government, we could visualize them becoming more enlightened and compassionate, thus birthing an enlightened government that cares deeply about its citizens.

There are many spiritual perspectives one can view disastrous events from. These are only a few among multitudes of possible ways to look at disastrous events. What is important is that we search and find these spiritual perspectives, always reaching for higher ground by going deeper within. On the surface there are human feelings and thoughts about how unfair disastrous events are, how terrible they are, how unfortunate they are. The deeper perspective, while still being compassionate about the human dilemma, realizes that there is always a purpose and reason for these events that can have positive influences and outcomes, even if the human mind cannot perceive what these possibilities are.

Many of us do not have time to donate to the cause, and some do not have much money to donate, but all of us have the ability to envision healing and growth around all the participants in an event, from the smallest child to the most powerful leaders. In your meditations, hold those who are hurting in your arms, nurturing and supporting them, surrounding them with love and light, and a vision for their well-being, seeing them arise from the ashes like the Phoenix, being born anew. In your meditations, give Bush and the other leaders who failed a sincere embrace in love and compassion, and touch them with your heart, rather than your mind. Become bigger than the human perspective, and enter the perspective of the eternal self, and see how this event will cause growth in the human consiousness, rather than regression. This event has happened for a purpose, and only the eternal self can truly understand this.

Ask yourself what your own lesson and awakening can be in the face of this event. Must you soften your heart in some way or another? Must a realization be had? What is it that you can take from this experience that can contribute to your well-being and growth? Are you one of the ones who is supposed to help some way? Are you one who can envision and nurture those who are hurting? Must you dismiss hatred and anger toward the incompetence or perceived evil of particular leaders and replace it with unconditional love? What is your spiritual perspective of this event?

The New Age (or the Aquarian Age) & World Government

The New Age (or the Aquarian Age) & World Government

The famous song about the Aquarian Age states:
“When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars!
This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius! Aquarius!”

It is generally believed that the Aquarian Age started in the year 2000, 2160 years roughly being the Age of a Sign. The Piscean age started at around 200 BCE (Before Common Era). Let us study the symbolisms of the Piscean and the Aquarian Ages. As the Earth's precession is 72 degrees per degree, 2160 years is an Age Cycle. 25,920 years (12 x 2160) is a Processional Cycle, a Great Plato Year or an Aeon.

Pisces means Fish, and Jesus was the Redeemer of the Piscean Age. The Piscean Age emphasized Faith. The two fish of Pisces indicate dualism, and during this time the conflict between religion & science intensified as science rose against blind faith. The belief in an external God was rejected by science. Aquarius is ruled by two planets in astrology, Uranus & Saturn. Uranus represents independence and Saturn represents universal humanism. Humanism postulates that no dogma or political doctrine can save you; only you can save yourself. If you save yourself, you save society, you save the nation and the planet Earth! In other words, universal humanism will be the hallmark of the Aquarian Age.

The astrologic scholar Jeff Jawer remarks that the Aquarian Age has not arrived in his article "On The Cusp between Pisces and Aquarius." The first Venus Transit occurred in 2004 and the next one will be in 2012. These next 8 years will be like the Dark Night of the Soul, a chaotic period of purgatorial suffering as the Earth goes through a dark phase. Dr Jose Arguelles, the scholar who brought the concept of Harmonic Convergence, also thinks that the enlightening Age of Aquarius will dawn on the eve of 2012.

All freethinkers are excited about the New Aquarian Age where wisdom will blossom and importance will be on self development, self transformation, self realization and self actualization. Gone are the days of dogma and blind faith. Personal transformation will result in planetary transformation.

Dante, Bernard Shaw & Alice Bailey had highlighted in their writings that a World Government is the only solution to achieve permanent world peace. Mahesh Yogi inaugurated the World Government in 1975 in Seelisberg, Switzerland. He said, “In response to the call of time, a global organization has been structured, the non-political, the non-religious World Government which has the knowledge and expertise to create an ideal society.”

Foster Bailey, the husband of Alice Bailey, said that "Free Masonry is the descendent of a United World Religion, a divinely imparted religion. Then came separativeness and religions. Now we are striving for a United World Order." Dr. Wilhmhurst saw the dawning of the Aquarian Age as the fulfillment of the plan and said that Free Masonry may be the vehicle for that fulfillment. Wise people point out that the New Age Movement is the Universal Religion which H. G. Wells predicted would one day take over mankind. There is also a move to create a world stock market and control all governments in the world so that they can operate as one unit rather than many struggling for dominance over each other. The foundations behind the United Nations are spiritual. The Global Oneness Movement is gaining momentum and a Council of Global Governance has been constituted with Maurice Strong as the President.

The hand of the Mysteries controlled the establishment of the United States Government and the signature of the Mysteries may still be seen on the Great Seal of the United States of America. The Seal discloses a mass of Masonic symbols, chiefly amongst them the American Eagle, which is a conventionalized phoenix. The USA is not a perfect government, but it was an attempt to create a compassionate government. It has fallen far short of the true heart of compassion, but it is a lot closer to a compassionate government than many of the governments in the world. What has happened is that a few unknown but powerful people have corrupted the US government to serve their own purposes. Otherwise, the US government would not be so bad. The US Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter said, “The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes.”

The Third Testament

The New Age has been referred to as the Third Testament. While the Old and New Testaments emphasized that Truth is Freedom (Veritas vos Liberabit), New Age philosophy avers that self knowledge or knowledge of the absolute self alone can make you free! Global oneness can save the world. Globalists can bring a planetary transformation and not those who champion the cause of a Nation or a particular civilization over others. Some prominent globalists are Jeremy Rifkin, Norman Cousins, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, John Denver, George Lucas, Norman Lear, Alice Bailey, Alvin Toffler, Dr. Barbara Ray, Benjamin Creme, Levi Dowling, George Trevelyan, Fritjof Capra, Abraham Maslow, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Ruth Montgomery, Shirley MacLaine, J.Z. Knight, Marilyn Ferguson, David Spangler, Nelson Mandela & Gorbachev.

Marilyn Ferguson in her book “The Aquarian Conspiracy” remarks that the New Age Revolution is a movement characterized by “no political doctrines, no manifesto.” It is a movement “more universal than reform” and “more profound than a revolution.” The main characteristic of the New Aquarian Age will be spiritual democracy. Global integration has been achieved via the internet, which implements the global village concept. The World Wide Web is the true World Encyclopedia!

Piscean Symbolism/Dualism

Pisces is characterized by two fish, the Eastern Fish and the Western Fish. The Eastern Fish represents the positive aspect of man and the Western Fish, the negative aspect. It indicates the fierce conflict between science and theology and conflicting ideologies, Marxism versus Mysticism, Existentialism versus Essentialism, and so on. The lower energies, such as greed, jealousy, ego and ignorance were expressed during the Piscean Age and higher energies like peace, love and truth will be exhibited in the Aquarian Age.

The internet is an Aquarian concept. This is the first step in global communication and connection. Everyone’s voice can be heard on the internet. The internet is not censored, and there are no real rules on the internet. It is a free for all for expression, whether on is in a third world country, or an affluent country, whether one agrees with the government’s policy’s or not.

Global Integration

The 9/11 World Trade Center attack and embassy bombings around the world are indicators that it is time for us, as a global community, to evolve to a higher level of consciousness and usher in a New Age. The main reason for the 9/11 disaster and other such events was our lack of global unity and the separativeness that is so predominant in this era.

As it is a syncretic sovement (Syncretism holds that all religions are essentially One), it will bring forth global integration and spiritual democracy. During the Taurean Age (4000 BCE), worship of the Golden Calf was common in the Middle East. During the Arian Age (circa 2000 BCE), the Jews indulged in widespread ritual sacrifice of sheep and other animals in the Temple. During the Picean Age (160 BC - 2000 ACE), many Jews walked away from animal sacrifice and embraced Christianity, symbolized by the fish.

A Paradigm Shift To Global Order?

Dr Thomas Kuhn in his book “Structure of Scientific Revolutions” defined a paradigm (pattern) thus: "Science is a series of peaceful interludes, punctuated by intellectually violent revolutions.” After such revolutions, one conceptual world view is replaced by another. The New World View is Monism (All is One), Holism (Reality is organically One) and Pantheism (The Universe is divine and earth is sacred). All regressive thinking and negative tendencies will fade away and enlightenment will dawn. The Aquarian Age will usher in a major shift in intellectual thinking, as it is the Shift of the Ages!

The World Plan has been in motion for centuries. A New World Order cannot happen overnight. Many people are becoming aware that something serious is going on and a World Plan to unite global currencies, trade boundaries and Nation States is in the process of happening. The principle of Global Economic Interdependence will unite all the economies of the world. There exists a benign and benevolent secret power behind the scenes whose aim is to control all the governments of the world and cause them to act benignly as well. This is a blessing for all of us, and it can be a relief that you know that you are not alone in your wishes for a peaceful and harmonious world.

Let us conclude this article with the Great Invocation, the World Prayer, which belongs to all humanity:

From point of Light within the Mind of God, Let light stream forth into the minds of men. Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God, Let Love stream forth into the hearts of men. May the Coming One return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known, Let purpose guide the little wills of men The purpose which the Masters know and serve.
