Greetings to all of our friends at Starlight Journal!
Autumn has arrived in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The weather is growing crisp, and the leaves of the trees have turned a spectacular shade of gold. Now is the time for harvesting what was sown, rejoicing in the fruits of our labors, and preparing stores for the upcoming winter.
Speaking of rejoicing in the fruits of our labors, the Starlight Journal Fall 2008 issue is here! Here's an excerpt from Joanne Brocas' article Halloween: Things That Go Bump In The Night:
"Children love Halloween because it is both scary and fun, and you only have to see the amazing array of creative costumes in the shops from skeleton suits to witches hats to know that...What if I told you, then, that some ghost stories are real and that earthbound spirits may wander the Earth, feeling the need to be fulfilled?"
In addition to discussing Halloween and other matters of "spirit-ual" interest such as channeling, this issue of Starlight Journal explores themes of our interdependence and ultimate connection to each other. Be sure to take extra time to experience the uplifting stanzas of Beth O'Boyle's Poetry of the Light.
Did you know you can post comments to issues of Starlight Journal the same way you can comment on blogs and forums? We've given great energy to finding the best authors and articles for inclusion in Starlight Journal, and we look forward to discussing your reactions and insights.
Have an autumn that rings with love, luck, and laughter!
