If you are sending a business card size ad up to a 1/2 pg size ad, you can send it as a hard copy to our P.O. Box and we will scan it into the website, or you can send a digital jpg file to our email address ads@starlightjournal.com and specify in the dialogue box that you are submitting it for placement on our website.

Hosted Pages

Your own page on our website
Full page ads

You can send a hard copy to our P.O. Box with a general layout plan, if you have a particular idea of how you want it laid out, or you can send pictures, art, graphics and text separately and we will arrange it as a page on our website in an professional look. This costs $75 per year.

If you are sending us your material by email, please send all text separately, copied and pasted into the dialogue message box in your email. Send pictures, art, or graphics as jpg file attachments. Your webpage is limited to one picture, whether it is art, a photo, or other kind of graphic, for they take up a lot of space on a website! As you can see as you look around on this site, one graphic is plenty for a page. If you have a layout idea, please send that as a separate jpg attachment as well so we have it for a reference as we set up your page.

We will try to match your layout plan as much as possible, but because web material is much different than print material, we may have to arrange your page slightly differently than it would look in its hard copy version in Starlight Journal. We are happy to work with you if you would like to make changes once you view it on our website. We will notify you when it is up and you may check it and make changes one time free of charge.

This will be an actual website page that you can direct people to in your flyers, conversations, and on your business card in order to promote your work. This page can also serve as a routing mechanism to your own website if you have one. Please include your website url in the email text part of your communication, and we will include it on your Hosted Page.

WEB AD RATES

The cost for ads on our website for one year are equal to the cost of running an ad in our hard copy newsletter for one three month issue.

Biz card to 1/2 page Ads, $20 - $55 per year
A business card ad costs $20 for the entire year to be on our website, appearing in various areas among the articles. All ads between Business Card and 1/2 page ads will appear in full among the articles.

Full Page Ads, $75 per year
A full page ad costs $75 per year, layout services are included in this price (which is an extremely good deal!) and will be placed as an entire page on our website, with links to your website activated if you have one already set up. You will have your own page in our website community, with references to your ad in two areas, one reference will be through the button on the left column, Hosted Pages, with a link to your full page ad, and another reference will be found among the articles as a teaser ad to entice the reader to come and check out your full page ad.

SUBMISSIONS
Please click here on Submissions or on the Submissions button in the left column to see our guidelines for submitting articles, poetry and art for publication in the hard copy and website versions of Starlight Journal. Articles, poetry and cover art will be visible in both versions, and copyright laws apply for your safety.

DEADLINE FOR ADS
Approximately two weeks, second Friday of the month
before our next seasonal issue comes out.

AD RATES
Discount applies if advertising in each issue.
Discounts do not apply to website ads.
