The publisher’s labor is free and is given from love. The advertising money that is raised is just enough to cover printing and shipping costs. It does not cover salaries or any other expenses. Tax deductible donations can be accepted to help defray the cost of creating each issue and paying for our new computer equipment. Starlight Journal is a 501(c)3 organization under the parent company Universal Church Of Metaphysics. Your advertising and donated dollars support the wonderful gift this publication is to the public and the metaphysical community in Humboldt County, CA. Hooray for technology! We have some new equipment, a scanner, and a layout program. Notice the improvement in the quality of our newsletter! We even have a website now! We at Starlight are very grateful for the guidance, financial assistance and the opportunity to upgrade. The equipment we used for this enterprise before now was quite antiquated. Now we have state of the art possibilities! (We will be paying a loan for a while, so any donations or assistance toward this are greatly appreciated.) Slight Ad Rate Increase Please note that we have raised our advertising rates just a little bit for we have not been meeting our printing costs. These rates are still quite reasonable. It is not a very big leap. For 3 months worth of exposure to the community these advertising rates are still the best advertising deal in the county. Please help us bear the financial aspect of printing this wonderful newsletter. Now you can receive Starlight Journal delivered to your door for only a small postage fee of $8 per year. The mission of Starlight Journal is to serve as a Community Co-op Newsletter. This is a non-profit enterprise. It’s purpose is to create a low cost way for practitioners, healers and teachers to advertise their presence in the community and provide free reading material, knowledge, and techniques to the reader. Starlight Journal is free to the public in the essence of service to humanity. It’s primary and foremost purpose is to assist people on their spiritual journey. SLJ
